The problem
An online store needs a reliable backend (products, orders), a clean API and a fast, appealing storefront — all working together.
What I built
- Built a REST API with Node.js + Express and modeled data with Sequelize over MySQL.
- Developed the storefront in React + Vite with Tailwind and Framer Motion.
- Wired the frontend to the API for a complete product → cart → order flow.
Challenges & how I solved them
- Designing a clean data model and API contract between front and back.
- Keeping the storefront fast while staying visually rich.
The result
A working end-to-end store demonstrating full-stack ownership from database to UI. Live demo available.
What I learned: Strengthened API design and the discipline of keeping frontend and backend contracts in sync.
